Hello, my name is Louie and I have been at Pet Rescue by Judy on and off.   I have become quite the challenge for them to write a story about me.

As you can see I am quite adorable.  I have heard people say “Don’t let that cuteness fool you” along with I should have been born a cat.  I do have one behavior like a cat.  

I am very independent and misunderstood for a dog.   I like things on my terms.   I am not the cute little lap dog unless I feel like sitting on your lap.   If I am laying in my bed or yours and don’t want to be disturbed I will growl so when you hear that please walk away from me and be like “OK” whenever he is ready he will let us know.  There are times I will love to lay on your lap.  I will come to you for you to pick me up.  Sudden loud bang noises will startle me and I might nip.  The people who adopted me did not work with me long enough.    They all gave up on me after about a week or so.   I am housetrained and good with other dogs. My previous home had another small dog like me and I enjoyed very much going outside with him and running.   I live with Judy now  and she understands me.   She also takes me to the shelter to visit her worker’s there and they know to just not bother me if I am quite and just hanging by myself.  So, like I said before, I am like a cat, they are independent and like to be left alone at times, they will come to you when they want food, love and attention, like me.   It might take some time and work but I feel you will come to understand me.
