Description:
This stunning girl was brought to us after her dad succumbed to a long battle with cancer. She has a very distinct characteristic one fang is long than the other so it sticks out of her lip. If you look you can see it in her picture. The couple had promised the brother that they would find her and her mate a good home but after being unable to find one for them they were forced to bring them to us. With tears in her eyes the sister in law handed her over to us. I promised that I would find them both a good home. She is very docile and loved to snuggle with her dad on the bed. I want these two to be adopted together so that they are not traumatized more than they have already been. Many people don’t realize that animals have feelings like we do and suffer from loss the same way that we do. My goal is to try my best for them and let them know that they are still loved until that special someone can take over for me. With that goal in mind, if adopted together, their combined adoption fee will be lowered to $200.

According to The Cat Fanciers' Association, it has been said that if you want a dog, a cat, or a monkey, you want a Bombay. Bombays can often be leash trained, most enjoy playing "fetch," and all are fond of inventing new ways to entertain themselves and the folks that live with them. Bombays are congenial and utgoing, and make intelligent, affectionate companions. They do well with children and will often act as a "greeter" with visitors. They live compatibly with dogs and other pets as well. The Bombay generally combines the easy-going temperament and robust nature of the American Shorthair and the social, inquisitive, lap-loving character of the Burmese.
The Bombay's head is rounded with a short muzzle, but there should not be a "pugged" or "snubbed" look. The coat is the most defining characteristic of the Bombay. Its short, flat, gleaming, black-to-the-roots coat accentuates its rippling muscular form. And, along with its conspicuous gold to copper eye color, leads to the Bombay being described as the "Patent leather kid with the copper penny eyes."
