Pepsi is a luxerious black cat. He starts to purr the moment you hold your hand out and has that way of folding himself into your hand that, well, you just have to keep petting him! What an affectionate cat! Sadly, the odds are against him. Statistically speaking, black cats and dogs are the least likely to be adopted. Whether it is because of superstition or because they don't have features that jump out at you, the fact is that they don't get adopted in large numbers. Because they are so full, some shelters euthanize adult black cats immediately! How tragic, especially when you get to know them and recognized that they have every bit as much personality and love as their more colorful cousins.....
