Simba is a sweet little dog.   He was abandoned and a neighbor surrendered him to Pet Rescue by Judy.   Simba came to us with scars on his body, Judy took him to the vet and they suspect he had a bad skin condition that was never treated.   He has healed beautifully, but will have the scars from this neglect.   At first Simba will be cautious meeting you but once he feels safe he will kiss you forever.   He goes in a playgroup with our other dogs and likes to play, go on walks and it crate/housetrained.

June Foster update:    Simba is a delightful little guy and is extremely smart and curious!   He loves to play, both with other dogs and people,  and loves toys, especially his kong wubba toy.    He also likes to chew on bones such as nylabones or marrow bones.   He can get a little protective with the marrow type bones so needs to be separated from other dogs when he has those.     He is crate trained and we do put him in his crate for meal times and if we are going somewhere but other than that he is loose.   He can be a barker so probably would not be a good choice if you live in an apartment.   He walks well on the leash and we have taken him for short swims in our pool.    He also can climb over baby gates or out of puppy pens if he wants to and definitely needs to know his boundaries or you might find him walking on your coffee table or shelves.  He is very agile.
