Ruger was owner surrendered to PRBJ because his family's lifestyle changed and they were unable to keep him. They took very good care of him and he is a wonderful dog. He loves all people and dogs. He loves to cuddle and sleep in your bed, but is used to sleeping in a crate overnight. He enjoys walks and does well on a leash, but gets excited when he see's another dog. He is used to going in the backyard during the day. 

He is house trained, but will not potty when you take him on a walk. He prefers to go in the backyard, so he would prefer to be have a fenced yard. 

He gets very excited to see new people and he may knock over small children upon an initial meet. The children in the photo's with Ruger were raised with him and taught how to treat a dog this size.
