Luna is very sweet, and very obedient.  She is dog friendly, and would do best with another submissive dog.  She isn't a big fan of overly excited/reactive dogs.  She was raised with another male dog.  

Having access to a pool would do wonders for Luna!  The wonderful company orthodog.com has been working with us to fit her with braces for her leg injury and an adoptive or foster home with a pool would provide her with much needed physical therapy.    

Luna was at another shelter since March and has become very depressed.   Our vet tech read her story and approached Judy regarding helping Luna and Luna is now at Pet Rescue by Judy.  She and her brother were brought to a high kill shelter after being abandoned in a house, and since then her brother has gotten adopted without her.  Luna and her brother have always been together.   The shelter felt Luna has been overlooked because of her age which is close to  8 years old and she has an old leg injury.   She has become depressed and has lost some weight.   Luna knows how to shake hands and give kisses.   The photo included below show a little girl who has gone to the shelter to visit Luna many times.   Every time Luna has seen her that is when she came to life.   That was the highlight for Luna to see this little girl.   Since at Pet Rescue by Judy she has a big room to herself and wanders around inside the shelter.   She enjoys sitting at the front desk and loves being with people.   The other dogs up front do not bother her.   This dog is magnificent, loving and very gentle.   Please let's all pull together and find Luna a great home.
