Description:

Ok, Ok, I'm not really an Iditarod Champion, that was in my dream last night and wow it was a great dream, I was leading the pack as we crossed the finish line to the cheers of adoring fans...

Well, the truth is that I actually do need to get out on the trail a little bit.  I've apparently overindulged in too many treats and snacks and am looking for a family who can take me for walks and have lots of playtime and help me shed a few excess pounds.

I'm a sweet and happy boy and am waiting patiently for a family to call my own, maybe it is you??  Please come and meet me and see my cute doggy smile for yourself.

Dog for a Day Update:

We took Loki out to the dog park last Saturday. He was excellent in the car, sitting like a  gentleman the whole way. We quickly learned that although he may not seem it, he is quite the  picky eater. He played very nicely with the other dogs in the small dog’s section of the dog  park, waddling after the other pups as they played. We then took him on a walk around the  “human section” of the park and he did not pull on the leash or bark at all the whole time. We  went for lunch at a restaurant with outdoor seating and he did not beg for food, just lounged  around looking at all of the people walking past. Everyone who passed by or worked at the  restaurant came over to look at Loki and ask questions about him. He seemed to enjoy the " pup-ularity." He was a bit dirty from lots of walking and playing so on our way back we took him  for a bath at Paw Park Place (around the corner from the pet rescue) and although the dryer  was certainly not his favorite, he was a good sport about getting into the tub and letting us clean  him. He is a very good boy and we know that he would be a great addition to any family.
