Cara Mia came to us because her owner went into a Nursing Care Facility and other relatives in the family were unable to take her. She was with her previous owner since she was a puppy. Cara Mia, also called Mia, wants to find her new forever home, to love and take care of her. She is a Florida native.
She is very sweet and gentle. She may be a little skittish at first with some people, because she was with the same owner for 10 years. She loves to watch and observe you everything! She likes to snuggle and loves to play with toys. She is 10 years, but acts like she is half her age. This girl still has a lot of life left in her. She gets along fine with other dogs, and cats. She is great with kids, and knows to go outside to go potty. She is very low maintenance and will make a wonderful fur-ever friend!
She has a bit of arthritis in her back left leg, but takes vitamins to help with that. She is very healthy and fun-loving. She does not like to be left alone, so maybe someone who is home alot would be best for her. She is crate trained as well.
