Description:

July 2016 Foster update!  Sweet Jazmine is lying in her foster daddy's arms, wondering why she doesn't have a furever home yet...she's housebroken, crate trained, loves all people AND all kinds of other dogs and best of all, isn't a barker.  She's a big cuddle bug and would make a wonderful emotional support companion.  Jaz has been fully vetted, spayed, and is ready for her new home...so don't delay!  At only 46lbs, she's perfectly portable and would be a great house or apartment/condo companion!

Warning:  if you don't like snuggling, hugs, and puppy kisses, read no further!  Meet Jazmine, aka the "Itty bitty pitty".  This poor little gal was found wandering Orange Blossom Trail, where she was almost hit by a car before one of Judy's foster families pulled over to help her.  Jazmine was emaciated, covered in fleas and skin wounds, and had a collar embedded in her neck.  With Judy's generous permission, she was seen by the vet, treated, and spayed.  She's now eating a healthy diet but is fully grown at about knee-high and 46lbs.  There is nothing Jazmine enjoys more than being with her people.  She is a wonderful snuggler, whether it be couch or bed, and she loves to get in between the pillows at night and curl up against you or sleep with all four feet in the air.  She gets along well with other dogs, although she is timid, most likely due to her time on the street and rough living conditions.  Jazmine is not food aggressive and she is housebroken and crate-trained.  She does not bark but does make funny little grunting noises when she wants to get closer to you during snuggle time.  Due to her dainty size and prior injuries, Jazmine is best suited for a home with older children who can understand how to be gentle with her.  Xrays do show some hip dysplasia that inexpensive supplements will help, although potential owners should be aware she may be a candidate for surgery in the future if her condition worsens.  That doesn't slow Jazmine down, though!  She is happy to go outside or cuddle up and watch a movie with you while gnawing on her rawhide.  She will follow you around, her tail wagging so hard her whole body moves, while melting your heart with her eyes.  Petting her blue-gray coat is like touching velvet.  She is beautiful inside and out.  Jazmine would make a great companion for someone with limited yard space, since she doesn't take up much room.  She will be getting her sutures out from her spay in the next week, so get your application in now and give this little sweetheart the home she so badly deserves after a rough street life!
