We adopted Little Bit the chihuahua. She is doing absolutely great. My daughter totes, dotes, and loves this dog like nothing else. Little Bit surprises people that meet her because she is opposite of what they expect this breed to be like. She is not a shaky, nervous dog and likes anyone that will share their lap with her. We are so pleased to be able to adopt such a great dog!

Wanted to say what an amazing job Judy and the volunteers are doing for all the dogs and cats. We recentley fostered Steel and am proud to say he was adopted today. I will miss him and am sure he is going to a loving family. So happy to foster another success story. Thanks Judy for all you do.

I adopted Kenji a couple of weeks ago. He is mostly Shih Tsu but our vet thinks he may have a tinge of Bassett Hound in him. Does not really matter. We love him and he is a really great guy. We know he has had troubles in his life, but he now has a home and people who will take care of him. I am a Vietnam era veteran with longstanding PTSD. Kenji is such a goofy guy, he gets me out of myself and I am so much better off with him around. We make a good pair, since we have both suffered some hardships. Kenji is the greatest. He follows me around, likes to sit on the couch beside me or on my lap. He walks like a champ outside on his lead. Very inquisitive and friendly. He has made friends with a neighbors Shih Tsu, who is named Parker. {my wife looks after Parker during the day while the owner is at work} He will be completely healthy again after we beat his ear infections. He is ferocious when you try to put drops in his ears. I take him to the vet twice a day and it takes four people there to get the ear drops in him. He is gettign better. Enough update on Kenji for now. I am very happy to have him in my family

Judy, I started volunteering at the shelter for a girl scout project not too long ago. I am very grateful to have met you in-person on more than one occasion down at the shelter. I'm sure you get this more than I can imagine but what you're doing is absolutely amazing. I love volunteering down the shelter and at the Oveido location. Even though my project is coming to a completion, I am so excited to continue volunteering in any way I can. You and everyone helping are doing a great service to the community and an amazing thing or the animals. On behalf of my girl scout group and the animals, thank you so much.

I commend you for all you do for our precious animal friends. I'll be dropping off some supplies, etc. at Murphys on my next visit. I vote for you every day on the Animal Rescue Site & hope you win again for the State of Florida. Bless you all & I think it's wonderful about the teen volunteers. Keep up the good work!

I adopted Wrangler a bull dog from you last feb. We thought he was 2 or so but found out he is actually 5 or 6...I doesn't matter tho he loves my senior Lab mix and himalayan cat and is a constant tail wager! We changed his name to Diamond after my deceased husband and because he has a beautiful white Diamond on his rear...What a GREAT loving companion! Thank you for all you do!!

Well, we have had Porsha and Ruby for 6 months now. They have really settled in. They stick to a routine and enjoy walking around Charleston every day. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy these two little schnauzers.

I heard about you from an LJ community called note_to_cat. I think it's amazing that you keep the animals their natural life if need be. A person posted about O'Jay. You're doing a wonderful service.

I think it's great that you are saving pets and giving them the love and dignity they deserve. All 4 of my pets are rescues...they rescued me! I would love to work for you but unfortunately I don't have the experience you mention or a car to get all the way to Sanford! Please open an office over by the Millenia Mall area!!

I adopted Jennifer the shepherd mix in February 2010, and she is doing quite well. In a few short months, I have enjoyed watching her go from a frightened & confused animal to a silly, wagging, playful pooch. People call her "puppy" when they see her in action! I love her to pieces and couldn't imagine my life without her. Thank you, PRBJ. By the way, I know that Jennifer's puppy, Jackie, was adopted a while ago. I would love to meet her and her owners. If you are in touch with them (or if they are reading this) PLEASE contact me at joyceorr@yahoo.com. I would love for Jenn to visit with her daugher!!!

Last October we adopted Rico (now named Grish) the Lab Puppy. He now weighs 80 pounds and is a wonderful dog and companion. He will be a PAWS therapy dog once he reaches a year old in August. Thank you for all you do -- the benefits to the animals and to society are immeasurable!

Message From: Judie April 18, 2010
Thank you for all that you do for homeless pets. All of the pets that we have are rescues. Two dogs are from a shelter, one from a breed rescue and one was a stray as well as a stray cat. I firmly believe that rescued dogs are always grateful for the chance at a forever home. Rescue your pet from a shelter, you will never regret it. And spay/neuter them all!

Hey guys, I adopted Sadie the lab from you guys last year and just wanted to let you know how great she's been doing! She is inseparable from me, sometimes good and sometimes bad =P But she is so much fun and we haven't had any problems getting along. I'm moving to Colorado in a month so I'm excited to see how she does up there and can't wait to take her to the trails. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for bringing us together and I know she's happy now =) Brian

Hello Judy and Staff! I just wanted to let you know how much Sadie Mae the Puggle has impacted me and my boyfriend's life. She has brought more joy than we have experienced in a long time, and has been a great addition to our household. She and my border terrier mix (who I adopted from Orange County Animal Services) get along splendidly, and I really think she is much happier with her new friend. I cannot believe we have had Sadie Mae more than two months already. Thank you so much for all of the fantastic things you do for animals and the community, and thank you for blessing our lives with Sadie Mae. We renamed her Georgia because my border terrier's name happened to be named Sadie as well. I guess Georgia was destined to be a part of our family! Also, thank you to Amanda for being so helpful in the adoption process! I cannot say THANK YOU enough (clearly). Anyways, God Bless and thank you for the joy you have brought to our family!

Rogue, Mama finally learned how to fetch today. She also was wearing her winter sweater. She got a full size futon bed all for herself. Sundays are her bath days and she is so looking forward. She lost some weight. Mama has to keep her figure for the boys. She also gets a new toy every week. Rogue and I thinking to foster or adapt a sister or brother. New pics are available upon request.

I finally found a dog for me. I adopted my Rogue the Beagle during Thanksgiving week. I couldnt ask for more. She is the best dog. I am so lucky to have her especially this time of my life. My father just passed away on Dec 3. Rogue comforted my sadness and still doing it. Thank you for letting me adopt her. I will keep you posting updates of her progress. She is very disciplined and trained. I bragged about her to all my friends and coworkers. I know she is little overweight but I started her to do some walks and shorts runs with me. Thank you Judy.

we rescued our dog Pepper in 2005 in order to make more room for all of the dogs who survived hurricane katrina. Pepper is now the love of our lives and we couldn't image having a better pet.

Just over 11 years ago we adopted a beautiful kitten from you Judy for our son Theo. You had named him Mystic, and mystic he truly was. Everyone who met him fell in love with him for he was no ordinary cat, our boys often called him the "19th level monk". Mystic quickly took charge of our home and ruled the three dogs and later the other cat we rescued with a firm paw. He traveled across the country with us and made friends everywhere he went. Sadly this past Friday we lost him. Our lives will never be the same without him but we are grateful for the time we had. Mystic had a great life surrounded by a people who loved him thanks to you. Please know that the crusade you are on is one that is pure of heart and so important to our 4 legged friends. Thank you for your caring heart. I am sure you do not hear it enough. God bless you and above all know your life's work is appreciated!

Hi! just wanted to say I just donated my puppies to you guys> They are 8 months old. Their names are Bonnie and Clyde. They are so playful Bonnie loves to have her belly rubbed. If you call her name she flops down on her back so you can rub her tummy it is so cute! Clyde is a little bashful but in a cute way. He loves to snuggle he used to follow me everywhere and sit by the window and wait for us to come home. We have three kids 14, 7 , 1 month and they just loved our kids. I hated giving them away! I really miss them! I just wanted whoever gets them to know that they are wonderful and you will be very happy with them as your pets. Please take good care of our babies!

I just wanted to say thank you so much for helping George the Bichon find a loving home. It was very sad for me to have to drop him off. But knew he would be in capable hands. Even though George spent only one day with me, I grew attached and did love his little personality, and ended up crying having to leave him. Thank you Judy for helping all the animals you can. You have a very big heart. I cant thank you enough for giving George a chance.
