Griffin is a beautiful dog that is very friendly, happy, and playful. He is currently working on learning some commands, such as sit, no, and stay.
Griffin is heartworm positive but that will not stop him from having a game of catch and just doing what all dogs love to do. At the time of adoption, you will be given literature on The Slow Kill method for Heartworm Positive dogs. Griffin would also prefer no cats please....
Foster Update July 26:
We are fostering Griffin. He has perfected sit and is doing really good with loose leash walking. He likes the water sometimes, he also likes sitting in the kayak. He is a wonderful dog and just loves attention. He also loves going to our community field and running around. Make sure to check out all of his pictures below! His foster family also made Griffin an Instagram account where you can see more pictures and videos

Dog 4 a Day update May 13: Decided to spend a few hours with a pup and I'm so glad I chose Griffin! He was immediately warm and friendly, and gravitated towards us almost instantly. Griffin seemed a bit unfamiliar with the car, but once inside he was very calm and well-behaved. He's full of energy but handles leash walks surprisingly well. We took him around downtown Sanford and he interacted very well with strangers and other dogs. Two pups approached Griffin as we were seated with him outside a restaurant - he was alert and stood when they came closer and only lightly tugged at the leash. Such a good boy! He's a beautiful, sweet dog who would make a loving companion.
