Charlie's New Dog 4 a Day  update:  "From the beginning of the day when he & I got into the car was awesome! He snuggled against my face & gave me kisses then curled up for the ride home. He only really pulled on the leash to get to my car, I took him for a walk on a trail by my house & he was great on a leash. He & I played with toys I have and he really liked the racket ball I have. Even when we played he was so gentle. When it stormed, we snuggled up on the couch & watched a movie. I'm amazed he hasn't been adopted yet he was so great!!"

Charlie has graduated from Camp Doglando and here is what his camper has to say about him:  I love Charlie because he is a big teddy bear.

He learned a lot in camp and has mastered potty training, sit, down and crate.  He is working on stay, fetch and come. He prefers small dogs and doesn't really like big dogs.  Charlies loves swimming, running and lots of belly rubs!  Charlie is looking for a loving family to call his own!

Charlie is one lucky pup!  He is attending Camp Doglando from Monday, July 10 to Friday, July 21! This is a fabulous camp where kids train shelter dogs to get them ready for their new homes. 

They will learn loose leash walking, sit, stay, down, go swimming and on field trips to outdoor restaurants and more!  Dogs from PRBJ have gone to Camp Doglando for years and it is amazing how much they learn in a short period of time!

Charlie Giggles was returned back to PRBJ due a situation beyond his control (his family divorced and he was caught in the split-up).   He is housetrained.   He is a happy playful dog who likes to cuddle and sleep with his family.  He even enjoys would have to meet any other dog in the household to make sure all get along fine.      Charlie likes baths and enjoys going on walks and runs.  He needs more training on a leash.  He just wants some attention and love....and someone to play with him.  Always remember, a tired dog is a happy dog. If they get bored, all dogs can become destructive to get your attention.  Charlie gets along with other dogs and prefers smaller, less dominant canine friends.  He does not have to have another dog in the hime as what he really loves, are his human companions~  He is such a love-bug who would be a great addtion to an active family, couple, or single single owner. Charlie has had such fun learning his basic commands at Camp DogLando and is now ready for his furever home.  Will you be that family?

DOG 4 a Day update July 6th:  We had THE BEST DAY with Charlie.   He was such a good dog. Potty-trained, loved being in the car and was really great about listening to us. He gave us kisses and would nuzzle up to us. We went out to lunch and any time one of us would walk inside to grab something, he would watch and wait for us to come back. He is beyond precious. He was excited to see other people. And everyone loved to see him excited. He didn’t bark at anyone walking past or other dogs. 

I was super surprised that he was so obedient! From the moment we got him he jumped in the back of the car and was just so happy and ready to go. I wish we could have kept him forever, unfortunately, we don’t have time for a dog (yet). But I have no doubt he will find a family soon!
