WE HAVE ADDED MANY NEW PHOTO'S FROM WHEN SHE WAS IN HER FOSTER HOME.  PLEASE VIEW THEM TO SEE WHAT A GEM THIS BEAUTY REALLY IS.  THIS WILL BE HER ONCE SHE IS COMFORTABLE WITH HER NEW HOME.

08/21/2018:  Ms. Keane is officially back at the shelter.   Instead of putting her alone in a room we let her loose in our big room.   She did not hiss or try to hurt another cat she walked around and sniffed and at that point went under a crate.  She did allow the kittens to sniff her.   We feel Ms. Keane should be acceptable of an older more layed back cat.   It might take her a little time to come around and warm up but she will and when she does she will be full of love to give to you.   Children will make her nervous.  A calm home is what she is looking for.

UPDATE: 08/17/2018:  Ms. Keane has been in a foster home for a while now.   Unfortunately she is going to have to come back to the shelter, for personal reasons she cannot care for her anylonger.  She will be in the cat office again, alone, by herself,  she prefers to be the only cat.  Ms. Keane is very shy at first but once she warms up to you she will come around and love you unconditonally.   She loves sitting by the window and looking outside.  She enjoys the feel of the sun on her.   As for toys Ms. Keane enjoys her electric toothbrush, wooden spoon and a comb to play with.  She loves to have her hair combed also....We hope more then anything someone will come forward and want to share there home with this beautiful very mellow cat...

Ms. Keane (aka Ms. Kitty) was owner surrendered to us. Ms. Kitty had a home for about two years and her owners decided they wanted to travel.  Of course, Judy always takes her pets back, and she did.  We are now trying to find her the perfect, permanent home where this will not happen again to her.   Ms. Kitty does best when the only cat in a quiet environment.  Once she decides she can trust you, she can not get or give enough love.  She will sit on your lap and enjoy you brushing her short fur or petting her for hours.  She is playful and cuddly.  Ms. Keane is not a cat to overlook when considering fostering or adopting.    If you open your heart and your home to her, we promise you will not regret it!

Foster Home Update - November 2016:   Ms. Keane is settling in very well in her new foster home. This beautiful cat has a lovely, sweet personality and is very well behaved!  Like many cats, she can be cautious with new situations and people, but needs only time and patience to become comfortable. She is affectionate, enjoys playtime and loves getting brushed--she even has an electric toothbrush and practices excellent oral hygiene--with a little help, of course!!  And, when she needs some alone time, she appreciates having a quiet, safe spot set aside just for her!
