Mela was adopted from us in 2014 and that family had her until early this year. When the family brought her back to us they told us the following: "She is a great dog but we have had problems with food/toy aggression and she bit our daughter, but altogether Mela is a great dog." Mela was then adopted again and was brought back because the new owner stated she was becoming aggressive to the other dog in the house and because of that bit the new owner. In the 3 months Mela has been in our care we have not witnessed any food, toy, or dog aggression but we recommend her being an only dog with no children in the home. She needs an assertive and authoritative owner that is familiar with the Husky breed and their quirks. We highly recommend bringing in a dog trainer to evaluate Mela and try to get to the root of her issues. Mela is a great dog that will make a wonderful pet for someone who appreciates the Husky breed.
