Bookie was adopted in 2008 but unfortunately his owner passed away. He is now called Boo. He was surrendered back to Judy along with another dog by the name of Maxi from the Realtor who is selling the house. He is dog friendly, housetrained, a good senior who needs his forever home at this time in his life. He is ready to go home.
Original story: Bookie was found wandering the streets by a lovely older lady who has cared for him but knows that he needs more activity then she can provide. He is about as cute as a button, according to her "This is an adorable little dog, very lovable and spunky. He responds to some commands, is gentle and very lovable. Would make a nice pet for children. He seems to be an indoor dog and loves to be walked.
He would make an ideal pet for anyone who loves animals. He travels well and is good natured and very lovable. I don't see any situations that need to be avoided.
I hurt for this little doggie and am sad that I am not able to keep him. He needs a loving home with someone who, unlike myself, has the time and attention for him."
