Alastor is a precious puppy, all black with a white chest and white-tipped back paws.  She and her littermates were found all alone, with neither mother nor father in sight.  Speaking of father, we're thinking that there may have been more than one since the puppies vary so much in appearance.  Did you know that litters can have more than one father?  Yeah, it came as a suprise to me too!

They have an excellent, reliable, temperament and are friendly, superb with children and equable with other dogs. They crave human attention and need to feel as though they are part of the family. Labs are easily trained. These dogs are watchdogs, not guard dogs, although some have been known to guard. They have a life expectancy of 10-12 years.
