I'll spare you the "Finding Memo" jokes and just tell you that this is a pretty awesome cat. Every time I walk by her, I can't help but comment about how Beautiful and calm she is. Memo is still a little been wary of people. And who can blame her?? She spent some unpleasant time on the streets. She was found living next to an airconditioning unit with her little ones so we went and saved her and her babies. But with a little patience, she will be the perfect combination of affectionate and independent - which every cat owner will tell you is the reason we love cats so much!
Foster Update - 2/9/2011 - Memo's doing well and is quite the diva. She LOVES wet food and sits in the kitchen patiently until one of us sees her and knows she's ready to eat. She's not very sociable with the other cats, but she's not mean either. She's coming out more and loves to sleep on my bed during the day and sit in the windowsill sunning herself. We still can't pick her up, but she will allow us to pet her when she's in the mood.
